Terminals and meeting your driver

A single modern terminal handles both domestic and international flights. It opened in 2012 and replaced a much smaller facility, and the arrivals area is straightforward to navigate.

Drivers monitor actual landing times rather than scheduled ones, so a delayed flight or a slow immigration queue does not mean a missed pickup. Your driver waits inside arrivals with your name.

Roads and routes

The island road network is good and recently improved. Long Beach and Duong Dong town are a short run west and south. Ong Lang and the northern beaches follow the western coastal road. An Thoi and the southern tip, including the cable-car terminal, are reached on the main north–south road.

Nothing on the island takes long. Long Beach and Duong Dong are 15 to 20 minutes. Ong Lang runs about 25 minutes. An Thoi in the far south and Ganh Dau in the northwest are the longest at 30 to 40 minutes.
