Terminals and meeting your driver
The airport has separate domestic and international terminals, both compact and close together. Arrivals halls lead directly to the pickup area.
Drivers monitor actual landing times rather than scheduled ones, so a delayed flight or a slow immigration queue does not mean a missed pickup. Your driver waits inside arrivals with your name.
Roads and routes
City transfers are short enough to be a straight run along Nguyen Van Linh. Hoi An transfers follow the coastal road south past My Khe beach and the resort strip. Hue routes head north and pass through the Hai Van tunnel, which replaced the old mountain pass and cut a substantial amount of time from the journey. Ba Na Hills routes head inland and west toward the cable-car station.
Da Nang city takes 10 to 20 minutes. Hoi An runs 45 minutes to an hour. Ba Na Hills is around 45 minutes. Hue takes two to two and a half hours through the tunnel.
Choosing a vehicle

The most common booking mistake is choosing by passenger count alone. Luggage volume fills a vehicle faster than people do — four passengers with four large cases need more space than four passengers with hand baggage, whatever the seat count says. Does the Hue transfer use the Hai Van pass or the tunnel?
