Cam Ranh Airport Transfers (CXR)

Cam Ranh International Airport serves Nha Trang and the wider Khanh Hoa coast. The airport is not in Nha Trang itself — it sits about 35 kilometres south, on the Cam Ranh peninsula, and every arriving passenger makes a coastal drive north to reach the city.

Every rate on this page reads live from the MUINE EXPRESS transfer-rate source, so what you see is the current published price rather than a figure typed in months ago. Choose a destination below to check availability, or send us your flight number and we will confirm the vehicle and meeting point.

Transfer routes from Cam Ranh International Airport

Terminals and meeting your driver

Two terminals operate here, with international arrivals handled separately from domestic. Both are compact and arrivals halls open directly onto the pickup area, so meeting a driver is straightforward.

Drivers monitor actual landing times rather than scheduled ones, so a delayed flight or a slow immigration queue does not mean a missed pickup. Your driver waits inside arrivals with your name.

Roads and routes

The drive to Nha Trang follows Nguyen Tat Thanh boulevard, a coastal road that runs beside the sea for much of its length. It is genuinely one of the more scenic airport transfers in Vietnam. Routes inland toward Da Lat climb through the Khanh Le pass, and southern routes toward Phan Thiet and Mui Ne follow the coast on National Route 1.

Nha Trang city takes 40 to 50 minutes. The resort strip north of the centre adds around ten minutes. Da Lat is a longer proposition at three and a half to four hours because of the mountain climb, and the pass section is slower in fog or rain.

Choosing a vehicle

Vehicle classes on this route carry 2 to 40 passengers, and the card for each destination above shows how many classes are available on that specific route.

The most common booking mistake is choosing by passenger count alone. Luggage volume fills a vehicle faster than people do — four passengers with four large cases need more space than four passengers with hand baggage, whatever the seat count says. Tell us your bag count when you book and we will assign accordingly.

For longer transfers, stepping up one vehicle class buys legroom that matters after a long flight. On short city runs it makes little difference. The full fleet and price page lists all nine classes with passenger capacity if you want to compare directly.

Frequently asked questions

How far is Nha Trang from Cam Ranh airport?

Approximately 35 kilometres north, along the coastal boulevard. Allow 40 to 50 minutes for the city centre.

Is the airport actually in Nha Trang?

No. It is on the Cam Ranh peninsula, south of the city. Some visitors are surprised by this, so factor the transfer into your arrival plans.

Can I go straight to Da Lat from the airport?

Yes, and the route is listed above with live rates. It takes three and a half to four hours and crosses the Khanh Le pass, so it is a mountain drive rather than a coastal one.
