Terminals and meeting your driver

The airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 handles domestic flights and Terminal 2 handles international arrivals. They sit side by side and are a short walk apart, but confirming your flight number lets the driver wait at the correct one rather than guessing.

Transfers leave via Truong Son street, which connects directly to the terminals, then join either Nam Ky Khoi Nghia toward the centre or the Hanoi Highway for routes heading east and north. Journeys to the Mekong Delta take the Ho Chi Minh City–Trung Luong Expressway southwest, and coastal routes toward Mui Ne and Phan Thiet follow National Route 1 before turning off at Phan Thiet.

City-centre runs take 30 to 45 minutes outside peak hours and can exceed an hour during morning and evening rush. Longer routes are more predictable once clear of the city, because most of the distance is expressway or well-surfaced national road.
